SO it is manicure monday again so that means a new nail art designs and a new nail art tutorial!
Today for #manicureMonday I decided to do a popular Korean nail art trend Shattered glass nails. This nail design has become very popular over the last little while so I thought that I would try it out! And I must say I love how these shattered glass nails turned out!
So what are Shattered glass nails you ask?
To make shattered glass nails you use some kind of iridescent cellophane or holographic film. You cut these up into little pieces and arrange them on your nail as if it was a shattered piece of glass. I decided to create my own version of these nails using iridescent party confetti that I got at micheals craft store.
It is a pretty simple design that you can use any base colour you want and then use the iridescent cellophane to create the glass. There are also different colours of cellophane or holographic film you can use as well to create this design. I decided to do white and purple base colours for my manicure.
Polishes used
Essence Color & Go – #133 Oh my Glitter!
Sally Hansen – white on
