Inspired by a color .. day 21 of the 31 day challenge #31DC2015

I can’t believe that we are already on the last portion of the 31 day challenge. We are now on to the inspired by .. portion of the 31 day challenge. I think that this section is the hardest because you have to find something that inspires you not just a particular nail design. For today’s prompt of the 31 day challenge it is inspired by … a colour. I did have a completely different idea for today’s nail design but i couldn’t get it to look the way i wanted. So i might end up trying it again but for a different prompt.

So instead i became inspired by my revlon – sultry nail polish. I got this nail polish recently and i really love the colour. It is a beautiful blue/purple shimmery polish. I have used it in other designs but i am really loving this colour right now.

So i decided to use revlon – sultry and two other colours to make a zig zag pattern. This is the first time i try out this design. I think i will be trying out this design again later on It is pretty simple I just painted the three nail polishes in vertical lines then i took a tooth pick and drew lines across my nail in a zig zag pattern. I will have to do a youtube video of this when i decided to try it out again!
